my24milwaukee.com
My24Milwaukee.com is the online home for Milwaukee’s MY24 television service, where viewers can check TV programming and follow a growing mix of local sports and entertainment.
What can you find on My24Milwaukee.com?
My24Milwaukee.com works mainly as a simple online guide for people who watch MY24 in Milwaukee and nearby parts of southeast Wisconsin.
The site connects viewers with station programming, special broadcasts, sports coverage, and the MY24 television schedule.
This makes it different from a large local news website with hundreds of new stories every day.
Its main job is to help viewers understand what is airing and when they can watch it.
That simple purpose can be useful when a special game or local event replaces normal TV programming.
Why is MY24 becoming more important in 2026?
The biggest change is the return of Milwaukee Bucks basketball to free over-the-air television.
The Milwaukee Bucks announced in July 2026 that MY24 will be their full-season over-the-air television home for the 2026-27 season.
The deal covers preseason and regular-season coverage through MY24 and a planned group of television affiliates around Wisconsin.
Milwaukee-area viewers can receive MY24 over the air, and the Bucks said the channel is also available through most major cable systems and YouTube TV.
This is a big change because the Bucks had not used full-season over-the-air television for 31 years.
MY24 also has history with the team because Channel 24 carried Bucks games from 1988 through 1994.
The new deal gives My24Milwaukee.com more value because people may visit the site to check when a Bucks broadcast starts or what MY24 is showing around game time.
Is MY24 the same as the old WCGV Channel 24?
The MY24 name has a long Milwaukee history, but the way the channel is transmitted has changed.
The former WCGV-TV used virtual Channel 24 before its separate broadcast license ended in 2018.
Its programming then continued through WVTV’s television signal while keeping the familiar Channel 24 identity.
Today, MY24 is associated with WVTV and continues to appear to viewers as virtual channel 24.1.
This background explains why visitors may see the names MY24, WCGV, and WVTV used in different places when searching for the station online.
Who owns the station behind My24Milwaukee.com?
Older pages on the web often connect MY24 and WVTV with Sinclair Broadcast Group, but that information no longer tells the full story.
In 2025, the Federal Communications Commission approved the transfer of WVTV from a Sinclair licensee to Rincon Broadcasting Milwaukee LLC.
Rincon Broadcasting Group now lists Milwaukee and WVTV among the local television markets and stations it serves.
This ownership change is worth knowing because old search results can make My24Milwaukee.com look like it still belongs directly to its former owner.
Why are local sports a big part of MY24?
MY24 has spent years building a place for sports that matter to people around Milwaukee.
For example, Wisconsin Lutheran College partnered with MY24 to air all five of its home football games during the 2025 season.
The station has also carried Wisconsin high school sports programming, including broadcasts connected with the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association.
In 2024, MY24 also worked with the Lake Country DockHounds to put selected baseball games on local television.
The Bucks deal takes this local sports idea to a much larger level.
Is My24Milwaukee.com useful for people without cable?
It can be especially useful for viewers who want to understand what they can watch through local broadcast television.
MY24’s focus on over-the-air access means some major sports and entertainment can be available without a traditional cable package.
The Bucks have also said more information about their statewide affiliate network and direct streaming choices will be announced separately.
Because those options can change, viewers should check current station and team information instead of relying on an old TV guide found through a search engine.
What is the best reason to visit My24Milwaukee.com?
The best reason is simple: use My24Milwaukee.com as a direct guide to what Milwaukee’s MY24 station is showing rather than treating it as a general Milwaukee news portal.
Its value becomes much stronger when MY24 carries a local game, special event, or program that viewers want to catch at the right time.
With Bucks basketball joining its local sports lineup for 2026-27, the website now has a stronger reason to stay on the radar of Milwaukee sports fans.
