bookbyanyone.com
BookByAnyone.com is a personalized gift website that uses AI to turn a person into the main character of a printed comic book, fiction book, or funny nonfiction book.
What is BookByAnyone.com?
Book by Anyone is built around a simple idea: ordinary people can become the star of a book made just for them.
You answer questions about the person who will receive the gift.
The site then uses AI to create a title, story, and other personalized content from those answers.
You can choose from products such as comic books, fiction books, nonfiction books, and bookmarks.
The company says it has printed more than 500,000 books, which shows that the service has moved far beyond being a small AI experiment.
The biggest difference from a normal personalized book is that the recipient is not just given a name inside a fixed story.
The details you provide help shape the book itself, so the finished gift can feel much more personal.
How does Book by Anyone work?
The process starts by choosing the kind of book you want to create.
You then answer a short set of questions about the recipient and provide details that can be used in the story.
The AI creates book ideas based on this information.
You can review the idea, select a title or theme, choose a cover, and continue to the printed version.
According to the site's official FAQ, its fiction and nonfiction books contain more than 200 pages.
Its comic books are much shorter at 20 pages and use a traditional comic-book size.
This gives shoppers two very different gift styles instead of forcing every customer into the same format.
What makes the service interesting?
The clever part of Book by Anyone is that it sells the reaction to the book more than the book itself.
A normal book gift depends on knowing what the other person likes to read.
This gift works differently because the person receiving it becomes part of the entertainment.
That can make it useful for birthdays, family celebrations, funny surprises, and gifts for people who already own most things they want.
The site also makes personalization simple enough for people who have never used an AI writing tool.
You do not need to write prompts, create a story, design pages, or find a printing company yourself.
That simple workflow may be one of the site's strongest advantages.
Is BookByAnyone.com a legitimate website?
Several public signs suggest that Book by Anyone is an active commercial business rather than an anonymous page with little history.
The company's privacy notice identifies the business behind the service as Planbuddy Ltd and provides company contact information.
The website also publishes customer support details, shipping information, a return policy, and regional versions for customers in several countries.
Independent customer feedback provides another useful signal.
At the time checked, Book by Anyone on Trustpilot had a 4.8 out of 5 rating from more than 5,000 reviews.
Most of those ratings were five stars, although there were also negative reviews, as shoppers should expect with any company handling custom products and shipping.
No review score can guarantee that every order will go perfectly, so buyers should still check the current price, delivery estimate, and policies before paying.
How long does a Book by Anyone order take?
Delivery time depends on the country and the shipping option selected during checkout.
For United States customers, the company says standard shipping normally brings the printed book within about 7 to 10 business days after an order is placed.
Its listed expedited option is normally faster.
International estimates can be different, so the regional version of the website matters when checking delivery times.
This is important for birthday gifts because personalized printed products cannot normally appear at your door as quickly as a basic item stored in a warehouse.
What happens if you are unhappy with the book?
Book by Anyone currently advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee.
The company says customers can contact its support team within 30 days of receiving a book to start the return process.
Its FAQ says a prepaid shipping label is provided and a refund is issued after the returned book is received.
Policies can change, so reading the current terms before ordering is still a smart step.
Who is BookByAnyone.com best for?
Book by Anyone makes the most sense for someone who wants a funny and personal gift rather than a serious publishing service.
The company itself says these books are designed for entertainment and should not be treated as factual sources or commercial publications.
That distinction matters because AI-generated stories can invent details or create jokes that are not literally true.
For gift buyers, however, that playful approach is exactly the point.
The service combines AI, personalization, printing, and delivery into one simple product, which makes BookByAnyone.com an unusual option when a normal gift feels too ordinary.
