footballguys.com
Footballguys.com is a long-running fantasy football research platform built around customized rankings, projections, draft tools, and weekly league-management advice.
What does Footballguys.com actually offer?
The core of Footballguys.com is not simply fantasy football news, because the site tries to turn player data into advice that matches each user's league rules.
Its current toolkit covers draft rankings, season projections, weekly rankings, rest-of-season projections, waiver decisions, start-or-sit choices, trades, dynasty leagues, best ball, IDP, auctions, and daily fantasy sports.
The site's 2026 rankings can be adjusted for scoring details such as PPR, passing touchdowns, roster size, Superflex positions, and the number of teams.
That customization is important because a player who is valuable in a 12-team Superflex league can have a very different value in a standard one-quarterback league.
Why is Draft Dominator such a major part of the site?
Draft Dominator is Footballguys' main draft assistant, and it changes its recommendations as players leave the board and roster needs change.
Users can import supported leagues, create customized cheat sheets, run mock drafts, and receive suggestions during real drafts.
Footballguys says its 2026 version can use Live Draft Sync with major league platforms, reducing the need to enter every selection manually.
The tool can also work offline after its data is downloaded, which is useful when a live draft takes place somewhere with unreliable internet access.
How detailed are its projections?
The site's 2026 projection database goes far beyond a simple list of projected fantasy points.
For quarterbacks, for example, Footballguys publishes estimates for attempts, completions, passing yards, touchdowns, interceptions, rushing attempts, rushing yards, games played, and fantasy points.
Users can also select individual analysts or use a Footballguys consensus, which makes differences between expert forecasts easier to examine.
This approach is useful because projections expose the statistical assumptions behind a ranking instead of asking readers to trust a numbered list without context.
How established is Footballguys in fantasy football?
Footballguys says the business began in 2000 and now works with more than 60 fantasy analysts while claiming a community of more than 700,000 subscribers and players.
Those audience numbers are company-reported, so they should be read as Footballguys' own figures rather than independently audited traffic statistics.
There is stronger independent evidence for its industry history, because the Fantasy Sports Writers Association inducted co-founder Joe Bryant into its Hall of Fame in 2015 and former co-owner David Dodds in 2011.
The Fantasy Sports & Gaming Association separately inducted Bryant into its Fantasy Sports Hall of Fame in 2022 and credits him with introducing Value Based Drafting to the fantasy community during the 1990s.
Does the site have recent industry recognition?
Footballguys won the midsized Best Product Experience award in the non-operator category at the Fantasy Sports & Gaming Association's 2026 Industry Awards.
The same 2026 FSGA results show that winners were determined by votes from FSGA member companies.
Footballguys had already won midsized awards for both Best Product Experience and Best Written Content in the FSGA's 2023 results.
These awards do not prove that every projection will be accurate, but they provide independent evidence that the platform is recognized within the fantasy sports industry.
How much does Footballguys.com cost?
The current Footballguys subscription page lists the Pro plan at $59.99 per year, Elite at $89.99 per year, and All-Access at $199.99 per year when billed annually.
Pro focuses mainly on offensive redraft and keeper leagues, including customized rankings, Draft Dominator, weekly tools, and league syncing.
Elite adds formats such as dynasty, IDP, best ball, auction, and DFS together with tools including dynasty trade analysis and DFS lineup optimizers.
All-Access adds community features such as private Discord access, members-only events, early access to tools, and an annual Pro subscription that members can give to another person.
Footballguys also states that website subscription purchases include a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Who gets the most value from Footballguys.com?
Footballguys.com makes the strongest case for fantasy managers who want league-specific calculations rather than generic rankings copied into every format.
Its biggest practical advantage is the connection between league settings, projections, rankings, draft decisions, and in-season management tools.
A casual manager in one simple league may not need every paid feature, while someone managing several leagues with different scoring systems can use much more of the platform.
The site therefore works best as a decision-support system rather than as a source of guaranteed picks, because injuries, coaching decisions, player performance, and statistical uncertainty can quickly change any fantasy forecast.
