domenii.com
Domenii.com is a Romanian domain-related website with a documented history in domain registration and a more recent description as a real-time domain availability checker, although its current services could not be independently verified as of October 10, 2026.
What Is Domenii.com and What Does It Offer?
Domenii.com has historical connections to Romania's domain registration industry. Its name reflects the Romanian word "domenii," meaning "domains," and available records associate the website with searching for and registering internet domain names.
A third-party website directory, SiteLike, identifies Domenii.com as a service for checking domain availability in real time. Its Romanian-language description indicates that users could check whether a desired domain name was available.
However, this directory listing does not establish whether the feature remains operational, which domain extensions are supported, or whether users can complete registrations directly through the website.
What Is the History of Domenii.com?
Domenii.com has an identifiable history dating back at least to 2001.
On March 1, 2001, Romanian business newspaper Ziarul Financiar published an article discussing the registration of internet addresses containing Romanian diacritical characters.
The newspaper identified Domenii.com as a website offering this service and named Alin Vana as its owner at that time. It also reported a quoted registration price of $30 per year for the domain names discussed.
This reporting provides evidence that Domenii.com had a domain registration-related purpose during the early development of Romania's commercial internet market.
The historical information does not confirm the website's present ownership, operating company, registration prices, or commercial activities. The 2001 price should not be interpreted as a current offer.
Is Domenii.com Still Active and Safe to Use?
As of October 10, 2026, direct attempts to retrieve Domenii.com did not produce a usable website page through the available research tools.
The unsuccessful retrievals do not establish that the domain has expired, permanently closed, or stopped serving visitors. They simply prevent independent confirmation of its current functionality.
Several important details therefore remain unverified, including its present operator, customer support arrangements, payment methods, registration conditions, and renewal policies.
Anyone considering Domenii.com for a domain-related transaction should first establish that the website is accessible and that its operator, terms, and pricing are clearly disclosed.
For Romanian .ro domains, RoTLD is an independently identifiable official source. Its website provides domain lookup and administration information, making it a useful reference for checking Romanian domain records.
It is also important not to confuse Domenii.com with similarly named websites such as Domains.com, Domain.com, or Domenii.eu. Similar names do not establish shared ownership or services.
The Bottom Line
Domenii.com has a documented connection to domain registration in Romania and has been described more recently as a domain availability checker. However, the available evidence is insufficient to confirm that it currently operates as a functioning registration service.
Its historical existence is established, but its present availability, operator, and transaction reliability require further verification before users depend on it for domain purchases.
